Requirements: iOS 16.4 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 16.4 or later on iPad. The widgets need version 17 or later.
Installing: Tap the App Store badge on your iPhone or iPad, or scan the code with its camera, then tap Get.
Updating: The App Store installs each new version, on its own when automatic updates are on. A version too old to keep working asks you to update.
Removing: Touch and hold the CantonCap icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App.

Requirements: Android 7.0 or later, on phones and tablets.
Installing: Tap the Google Play badge on your phone, or scan the code with its camera, then tap Install.
Updating: Google Play installs each new version, on its own unless automatic updates are off. A version too old to keep working asks you to update.
Removing: Touch and hold the CantonCap icon and choose Uninstall, or uninstall it from its page in Google Play.

Your Computer

Requirements: macOS 12 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel: one universal app.
Installing: Open the disk image you downloaded and drag CantonCap to Applications.
Updating: CantonCap updates itself. It downloads each new version in the background, then shows “Update to x.y.z” in the status line: one click restarts it into the new version, and quitting installs it too.
Removing: Quit CantonCap, then drag it from Applications to the Bin.
Troubleshooting: If macOS will not open CantonCap the first time, choose Open Anyway in System Settings, under Privacy & Security. An early build that macOS asks about may not update itself: if it stays on an old version, download the new one here and replace it.

Your Computer

Requirements: Windows 10 or 11, on x64 and Arm: one setup for both.
Installing: Run the setup. It installs CantonCap for you alone, without administrator rights, and opens it.
Updating: CantonCap updates itself. It downloads each new version in the background, then shows “Update to x.y.z” in the status line: one click restarts it into the new version, and quitting installs it too.
Removing: In Settings, open Apps, find CantonCap and choose Uninstall.
Troubleshooting: If SmartScreen stops the setup, choose More Info, then Run Anyway. Windows warns about a new app until it has built a reputation.
