This Disclaimer applies to everything CantonCap publishes, on the website, in the app, through the API, in News, in emails and in the newsletter, and to the assistant’s answers. It forms part of the Terms of Use.
1. Information, not advice
CantonCap publishes market data, the methods behind it, news and opinion. Nothing on CantonCap is investment, financial, legal, tax or trading advice, and nothing is a recommendation, an offer or a solicitation to buy, sell, hold, subscribe for or transact in any security, virtual asset or other instrument. Nothing takes into account your objectives, your financial situation or your needs. Titan Limited is not a licensed adviser, broker, exchange, custodian or virtual asset service provider in any jurisdiction, is not licensed under the Securities and Investment Business Act, 2010 of the Virgin Islands, is not registered under the Virtual Assets Service Providers Act, 2022 of the Virgin Islands, and owes you no fiduciary duty. Decisions you make with the data are yours; obtain independent professional advice before making them.
2. What the figures are
A reference price is an aggregate computed from observations at public venues under the rules in the methodology. It is not a quote, not a price at which anyone will trade with you, and not an official or exchange price. Fully diluted valuations depend on the total supply an approved registry publishes; market capitalisation is not shown because no reviewed circulating-supply methodology exists for Canton instruments. Volumes and liquidity are what the venues expose, and a venue that exposes nothing contributes nothing. Liquidity scores, ratios and rankings are models, and they describe conditions at the time they were calculated. We may revise the methodology and recalculate figures; past figures can change when a source corrects its data.
A figure shown on a page marked as sample data is illustrative and is not market data.
3. Data sources, coverage and absence
Our figures come from third-party venues, token registries, ledgers, issuers and reference sources that are independent of us; the coverage page describes what each source makes visible and the status page shows whether each source is answering. Canton’s privacy model means that some activity is visible only to the parties to it. A figure that is missing on CantonCap is a published finding, nothing observable, not a statement that nothing happened.
4. Accuracy and timeliness
We take care to read sources correctly and to publish each figure with its time and basis, but data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong: because a source is, because a connector is, or because a market moved between the observation and your reading of it. Price alerts, notifications and widgets can arrive late or not at all. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the data. See the Terms of Use.
5. What others say on CantonCap
Members’ posts and articles are the opinions of their authors, even when our team has reviewed an article before publication. The sentiment gauge counts members’ votes and leans; it is a tally of opinions, not a signal. Posts from issuers’ X accounts are shown as the issuers published them. The assistant’s answers are generated automatically by an artificial-intelligence model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. We do not verify, endorse or adopt any of these, and none of them is advice from us. Articles by the CantonCap desk are our own editorial content; they are information and opinion, not advice.
6. Sponsored content and our own interests
Paid placements are labelled “Sponsored” wherever they appear. They never change a figure, a ranking or the order of the list they appear beside, and a sponsored placement is not an endorsement. Members must disclose paid relationships and holdings under the Community Guidelines.
Titan Limited and other companies in Edel Finance, their staff and members of our community may hold, issue, trade or have business relationships with assets, venues or issuers that CantonCap lists or writes about. Figures and rankings are produced by the methodology regardless of any such interest.
7. Third parties and independence
Venues, issuers, registries and other sites named or linked on CantonCap are independent of us. A listing is a record that an instrument or a venue exists on Canton, not an endorsement, a due-diligence finding or a statement that it is lawful or suitable for you. A verified issuer badge means only that the issuer’s identity was checked as the badge describes. We are not responsible for third parties’ content, conduct or availability.
“Canton” and related marks are trademarks of Digital Asset (Switzerland) GmbH, which is not affiliated with and has not endorsed CantonCap. CantonCap is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Digital Asset, by any body that governs the Canton Network, or by any venue or issuer it lists.
8. Risk
Digital assets are highly risky, and you can lose all the money you put into them. Prices can move sharply and without warning; liquidity can vanish, so you may not be able to sell at the price shown or at all; venues, custodians and issuers can fail, freeze withdrawals or be hacked; smart contracts, bridges and ledgers can malfunction; transfers are usually irreversible; stablecoins can lose their peg; and scams and impersonation are common. The legal and tax treatment of an asset can differ between jurisdictions and change over time, and digital assets are often not covered by investor protection or deposit guarantee schemes. Past movement is not a guide to future movement. Do not put in more than you can afford to lose.
9. Forward-looking statements
Some content, including articles, the assistant’s answers, issuers’ posts and pages that describe our own plans, contains statements about the future: plans, roadmaps, launches, expected features or expected developments in a market. They reflect views at the time they were made, depend on assumptions and on events outside anyone’s control, and may turn out to be wrong. We do not undertake to update them. A page describing a planned feature describes intentions that may change or never be carried out, and is not an offer or a solicitation to acquire any token.
10. Jurisdiction
CantonCap is provided from the British Virgin Islands and is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where its provision would be unlawful. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
