BOOSTRY and Digital Asset Plan a Multi-Chain Corporate Wallet for Japan, Starting With Canton
BOOSTRY, which provides systems for Japan's security token market, plans to launch the wallet for financial institutions and companies by the end of 2026, with Canton supported first.
BOOSTRY Co., Ltd. and Digital Asset, the company that created Canton, announced a partnership on 3 August 2026 to advance on-chain finance and digital capital markets using the Canton Network.
The first project: a corporate wallet
The first initiative is a multi-chain wallet service for financial institutions and companies, which BOOSTRY plans to launch and roll out to the market by the end of 2026. According to the release:
- Canton first. The initial phase supports the Canton Network only.
- More asset types. Support is then planned for security tokens, stablecoins and cryptocurrencies, which the release notes fall under different regulatory classifications and management requirements.
- More chains later. Further blockchains, digital assets and key management methods are to follow.
BOOSTRY also plans to link the new wallet with its existing services. No pricing, launch clients or exact launch date were given.
Who BOOSTRY is
BOOSTRY, led by president and chief executive Kazuma Hirai, provides IT services for issuing, managing and distributing digital assets, including security tokens, and the release says it has supplied core systems for Japan's digital capital markets. Its products include E-Wallet, an enterprise wallet for handling security tokens; E-Prime, a security token issuance service; and ibet for Fin, a blockchain network.
The release cites Canton's "over $9T in monthly asset flow", a figure that is Digital Asset's own and is not broken down. It contains no quotes from either company.
Japan's Canton summer
The partnership was one of several Japanese moves on Canton in August 2026. On 7 August, SBI Digital Practice and Korea's Nodeinfra announced plans for a yen and won stablecoin payment network on Canton, and on 13 August four MUFG companies started a proof of concept for Japanese government bond repo on the network.
Why it matters
Institutions need wallets that fit their own controls before they can hold or settle anything on a new network. A wallet from a Japanese provider that already serves the security token market gives Japanese banks and companies a familiar route onto Canton. It remains a plan until the service launches, which BOOSTRY targets for the end of 2026.
