Hecto's First PMX Token NEOPRIME Goes Live for Trading on Cantex on the Canton Network
The token, which Neoprime Capital says is backed by shares in pre-IPO companies, was declared live for trading by Hecto a week after its announcement. DeFiprime reported on 15 October that final product documents had not yet been published.
Hecto said on 20 October 2026 that NEOPRIME, the first token in its PMX private-market product line, is now live for trading on Cantex, a venue on the Canton Network. In its post on X, Hecto said Neoprime Capital offers tokenized exposure to "the private giants rebuilding the western industrial base".
The token was first announced by Neoprime Capital on 13 October 2026 at 16:55 UTC as a Canton-native investment vehicle that it says is backed by shares in pre-IPO companies, according to a DeFiprime report. Hecto developed the product. At that time Cantex said trading would arrive soon but gave no listing time. CantonCap data read at 17:00 UTC on 20 October showed NEOPRIME at about 1.04 USD, with roughly 50,900 USD in 24-hour trading volume.
From announcement to trading
The 13 October announcement said trading was coming soon without naming a date, and Cantex said on the same day at 17:33 UTC that NEOPRIME trading would come to its venue, according to DeFiprime. Hecto's 20 October post confirms that the token is now tradable on Cantex.
Hecto describes PMX as a tokenized route to economic exposure to private-market assets. The company says NEOPRIME is backed by real shares rather than a reference price or a prediction market, and its Canton Forum introduction calls it Hecto's first pre-IPO token on Canton, with one token backed by multiple pre-IPO companies. Hecto says NEOPRIME is the first of several planned pre-IPO tokens, each with a distinct market theme.
The named exposure universe
According to DeFiprime, the Canton Forum introduction names the following companies within the product's theme:
- Defense: Anduril and Shield AI
- Advanced manufacturing and robotics: Prometheus and Figure AI
- Financial services to the theme: Erebor Bank
Hecto's general PMX page cautions that company references are illustrative, subject to final product documents, and do not imply direct equity rights or guaranteed availability. DeFiprime noted that the public material does not, on its own, establish that each holder becomes a direct shareholder of every named company.
Rights, access and redemption
Hecto says holder rights, claims and creditor protections are defined at the product level, and that eligibility, onboarding and jurisdiction govern access. Transferability can vary by product, venue, jurisdiction and user eligibility. The PMX page also describes flexible issuance and says mint or redeem mechanics can support pricing discipline, both qualified by the product terms.
DeFiprime reported that the NEOPRIME-specific documents had not been included in the launch announcement. Questions it listed as still open include the identity of the issuer, the custodian or legal owner of the underlying shares, which named companies are included at launch, how exposure is weighted, how net asset value is calculated, and whether holders can mint or redeem. Hecto's stated access process begins with a waitlist followed by eligibility and jurisdiction review.
