The company behind Canton widened its a16z crypto-led raise in July. Several of its investors also hold, or are earning, seats in running the network.
Banks and asset managers on Ripple's custody platform can now hold and move CC and CIP-56 tokens under the same controls as their other assets, through a Canton validator they run or rent.
The filing names BitGo as custodian and a CoinDesk benchmark for pricing, leaves the fee and ticker blank, and lists risks including 13 Super Validators and concentrated CC holdings.
